The principle of synchronization:

1. In all things, there is something which can be made known to man by a feeling of its presence
2. In all things of the observable world, there is that sign which is made ready to our senses
3. In perceiving the world, and feeling the world, the two - perception and feeling - become one

The empathogen is the felt quality; the perceptogen is the perceived quality; and finally, the synchron is that which binds the two.

Perversion of Love

Love can be perverted in the following ways:

1. One empathizes with hate, thus becoming hateful and animating hate itself
2. One perceives hate to be love, and is loving by heart; thus, hate is animated by confusion
3. One fails to synchronize the good empathy with perceivable good, and thus the sign of the synchron becomes hateful
