Today, birds chirping
Silently is the loudest
Peaceful as the lute

Tomorrow, the dog
Jumping, hoping; wishes to quell
The chirps now so loud

A gender spectrum
Pink and blue; bifurcate to
An array of hues

Japan; Korea
Makes no difference to the
Country-fried bumpkin

Who can name a God?
Who invented his own name
Not many, I claim

Oh look, a balloon!
Kick it, stretch it; stretching it
Pop! Goes the ear drum.

I pace to my Mac
To write another haiku
This isn’t a haiku

Will you marry me?
Candy, my sweet love —
It’s got a nice ring

Outside of outside
Sky inside of outside
Sun inside of sky?

Lackadaisical
A walking contradiction
So effervescent
